TEQC Hatanaka 		GPS Data - Data Archive Interface Version 2 (DAIv2) - Public Alpha Release

The Data Archive Interface Version 2 (DAIv2) is our next generation interface for search and access of UNAVCO's GPS data holdings. Use the DAIv2 to locate data of interest to you using a variety of filters (Metadata, Spatial, and Temporal). You can search for both permanent station and campaign monuments simultaneously, and download data associated with them. The DAIv2 includes an interactive Web application for discovery and visualization of UNAVCO's GPS data and metadata holdings. The DAIv2 also includes a suite of Java-based command-line clients for advanced users needing automated discovery and download. Both utilize our new web services infrastructure.

Web Application

Our new DAIv2 Web application is an improved graphical user interface for data discovery. It provides a more powerful and interactive user experience. NOTE: The Web application requires the Flash plugin version 9+.

Command Line Clients

The DAIv2 also includes a suite of command line clients that utilize our web services for data search and access. The clients can provide data search and access similar to the DAIv2 Web application. NOTE: the clients require JAVA 1.5 or 1.6.

Installing the Clients
Unzip the contents of unavcoClients.zip into a directory of your choosing. To test the install and its compatibility with your Java installation execute the following command on your system (change directory to the one with the clients first):

java -jar unavcoMonuments.jar
The result should be a listing of the command line options. Refer to the downloadable Help documentation above for further information.
