UNAVCO Response

GPS/GNSS Data - Custom Downloads for Post Processing
UNAVCO downloaded high-rate 1-sps (1 Hz) data from 6 GPS/GNSS stations operated by UNAVCO within ~500 km of the epicenter from a 2-day time window around the event (± 1 day). A map of downloaded stations is shown in Figure 2. These data are available from the UNAVCO high rate data ftp site.

The GAGE GPS Analysis Center Coordinator (ACC) will estimate preliminary coseismic offsets associated with this earthquake. When analyses are complete, any observed offsets will be tabulated and published in an event (*.EVT) file available from the UNAVCO event products ftp site. As more data become available, the ACC will also produce a “final” offset solution as well as offsets estimated from Kalman filter time series analyses. All GPS station offsets estimated by Kalman filter time series analyses are included in the offset (*.OFF) file, updated monthly, from the offset products ftp site.
