Site Description:   Station is located at Cape Hallett Station, Antarctica, in an adelie penguin rookery. Station is 384.8 feet NE of USGS mark FISHER. Station is a standard USGS Antarctic brass tablet stamped "HALLETT ASTRO 14" attached to a rod driven into the ground. The rod is stabilized with rocks piled around, approximately 1.5 feet above the ground.
