An Optech ILRIS-3D Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS), training, and field support are available for PI project applications. Bruce Marsh of Johns Hopkins University stands with the UNAVCO TLS in the Dry Valleys of Antarctica.

Technical Support:

• INTERFACE (INTERdisciplinary alliance for digital Field data ACquisition and Exploration) is a national facility funded by NSF and managed by UNAVCO to help geoscientists in obtaining high resolution and precision, 3D surface data. INTERFACE provides a one-stop shop for users at any experience level to obtain instrumentation, software, and instruction in the collection of earth surface data by TLS LiDAR. Airborne LiDAR is available to the earth science community through the National Center for Airborne Laser Mapping (NCALM) and as part of the GeoEarthScope initiative.
