Trimble Data Transfer Utility

Recommended program for transferring files between the 4700 and a Windows based computer. The following program may be obtained from the following URL:

WinFlash

Winflash is a utility for uploading Trimble 4700 firmware.

Note The comms cable must be connected to the comm 2 port on the 4700 receiver

To run winflash:
At the device configuration screen, choose 4700 receiver
On the operations screen choose GPS software upgrade
On the available software screen, if the current version of firmware is not listed, then press the insert key and browse to the location of the new firmware,
Follow the directions to completion

Remcon
Remote Controller version 2.2.1
This is a 4000 like interface for the 4700 receiver. The alpha key allows you to scroll down menus. Remcon supports configuration of all SuomiNet functionality except the configuration of a met sensor, however you can view the met results using this interface.

Ctool Box
Ctool box provides the ability to configure the 4700 receiver via a application file interface
Note Some SuomiNet functionality such as Binex streaming, disabling multipath, met initialization, and changing phase bandwith are not available

Suominet R Utilities for Linux

This is a set of tools for configuring the 4700 receiver, along with downloading data using a direct serial connection.
Note R utilities is currently the only product that allows you to configure a met device
