The following are examples of command lines that could be run. Be aware that the hyperlinks point to uncompressed files, and that BDE01A97.230 is a binary download file. Also needed is the corresponding E-file, EDE01A97.230, which is also binary, and the S-file, SDE01A97.230, which is ASCII. The original data was collected using an Ashtech Z-XII receiver.

• This will translate an Ashtech download file into a RINEX OBS file (as redirected stdout); the name-matching S-file, SDE01A97.230, is automatically read:

  	teqc -ash d BDE01A97.230 > DE01A97.230.obs
  

• This will translate an Ashtech download file into a RINEX OBS file (as redirected stdout) a RINEX NAV file (specified by name); here the name-matching E-file, EDE01A97.230, is automatically read as well:

  	teqc -ash d +nav DE01A97.230.nav BDE01A97.230 > DE01A97.230.obs
  

• This will translate an Ashtech download file into a RINEX OBS file (as redirected stdout) with just the L1 L2 C1 P2 P1 observables, in that order:

  	teqc -ash d -O.obs L1+l2+ca+p2+p1 BDE01A97.230 > DE01A97.230.ph_pr.obs
  

• Same as above, except also including the Ashtech pseudorange smoothing correction for C1 P1 P2 pseudorange values:

  	teqc -ash d +smooth -O.obs L1+l2+ca+p2+p1 BDE01A97.230 > DE01A97.230.smooth.obs
  

• QC of the default (unsmoothed) RINEX OBS; plot files and report file are suppressed:

  	teqc +qc -plot -report DE01A97.230.obs > DE01A97.230.qc
  

• QC of the smoothed RINEX OBS; plot files and report file are suppressed:

  	teqc +qc -plot -report -nav DE01A97.230.nav DE01A97.230.smooth.obs > DE01A97.230.qc
