The following are examples of command lines that could be run. Be aware that the hyperlinks point to uncompressed files, and that bcheta96.184 is a binary download file. Also needed is the corresponding E-file, echeta96.184, which is also binary, and the S-file, scheta96.184, which is ASCII. The original data was collected using an Ashtech LM-XII P-codeless receiver.

• This will translate an Ashtech download file from the LM-XII into a RINEX OBS file (as redirected stdout); the name-matching S-file, scheta96.184, is automatically read:

  	teqc -ash d -P bcheta96.184 > cheta96.184.obs
  

• Same as above, except also including the Ashtech pseudorange smoothing correction for C1 pseudorange values:

  	teqc -ash d -P +smooth bcheta96.184 > cheta96.184.smooth.obs
  

• This will translate an Ashtech download file from the LM-XII into a RINEX OBS file (as redirected stdout) a RINEX NAV file (specified by name); here the name-matching E-file, echeta96.184, is automatically read as well:

  	teqc -ash d -P +nav cheta96.184.nav bcheta96.184 > cheta96.184.obs
  

• QC of the default (unsmoothed) RINEX OBS; plot files and report file are suppressed:

  	teqc +qc -P -plot -report cheta96.184.obs > cheta96.184.qc
  

• QC of the smoothed RINEX OBS; plot files and report file are suppressed:

  	teqc +qc -P -plot -report -nav cheta96.184.nav cheta96.184.smooth.obs > cheta96.184.qc
