TEQC Examples: TurboBinary "Y*-codeless" data

The following are examples of command lines that could be run. Be aware that the hyperlinks point to uncompressed files, and that pgc20990.98t is a raw TurboBinary file from a Benchmark ACT "Y*-codeless" receiver. These translations will use the C/A-derived phase value for RINEX L1, rather than the P1-derived phase value. A minor bug in the RINEX translation is the absence of the bit-2 in the LLI flag to indicate A/S for each satellite. (This is not encoded in the TurboBinary in the way done for the TurboRogue/TurboStar receivers.)

  • This will translate a TurboBinary "Y*-codeless" file into a RINEX OBS file (as redirected stdout):
    	teqc -aoa tbY pgc20990.98t > pgc20990.obs

  • This will translate the TurboBinary "Y*-codeless" file into a RINEX NAV file (as redirected stdout):
    	teqc -aoa tbYn pgc20990.98t > pgc20990.nav

  • This will translate the TurboBinary "Y*-codeless" file into a RINEX OBS file (as redirected stdout) and a RINEX NAV file (specified by name); the absence of the A/S bit in the RINEX makes the data "appear" as though A/S is off for all SVs whereas this is not the case:
    	teqc -aoa tbY +nav pgc20990.nav pgc20990.98t > pgc20990.obs

  • QC of the data; the plot and report files are excluded:
    	teqc +qc -plot -report pgc20990.obs > pgc20990.qc
