TEQC Examples: TI-4100 GESAR and/or BEPP/CORE

The following are examples of command lines that could be run. Be aware that the hyperlinks point to uncompressed files, and that hull7a1.164 is a binary file. The original data was collected using a Texas Instruments TI-4100 receiver. Specifying the GPS week using the -week option is required in some cases, such as this example.

  • This will translate a TI-4100 GESAR and/or BEPP/CORE binary file into a RINEX OBS file (as redirected stdout) and a RINEX NAV file (specified by name), specifying the GPS week with the -week option:
    	teqc -ti gesar -week 387 +nav hull7a1.164.nav bhull7a1.164 > hull7a1.164.obs

  • QC of the RINEX OBS; plot files and report file are suppressed; since the TI-4100 could only track a maximum of 4 GPS satellites, the option -min_SVs 4 is included (minimum of 5 is the default for find point-position in the qc-mode):
    	teqc +qc -min_SVs 4 -plot -report hull7a1.164.obs > hull7a1.164.qc
